Testimonials

The idea of being away from our son Reid, not knowing what he is doing, how he is doing, and missing so much of his day were some of the reasons we were always skeptical about putting him in daycare. Due to our conflicting schedules, we often times considered it, but always chose to just stick it out and make it work. We always thought that by doing so, we were putting Reid’s best interest in mind – however, it came to a point where we had no other choice. We researched all the daycares on Guam that were listed in our “Neni Directory” and visited a few of them. Nothing quite appealed to us and we felt we just had to settle with what we could. By chance, or maybe even fate, World of Wonder popped up on Facebook. At this time, World of Wonder was only open for a couple of months so there was not much information on them. The few reviews they had were enough to make us pay them a visit. Just as quickly as we fell in love with the establishment, we learned that they were at full capacity and we were waitlisted – but even so, we agreed that the search for a daycare was now over. We wanted Reid in World of Wonder, no matter how long we had to wait on the list. It was a few months before we finally got accepted but it was well worth the wait. At the time, Reid was 2 years old (almost 3). Like any parents would be, we were worried about his transition into the daycare because up until that point, he’s only ever known the familiar faces of mommy, daddy, godparents, and grandparents. It would be his first time in a new environment, surrounded by so many new faces. On his first day, he did not even shed a tear. He immediately seemed comfortable, and the staff were so great at making him feel included and at home. Our worries quickly vanished. We believed we were keeping his best interest in mind by having him close and under our watch but putting him in World of Wonder was truly in his best interest. We have seen him grow exponentially since he has been attending World of Wonder. They are not just an average daycare; they are a school. They have weekly lesson plans posted and they have daily schedules that implement story time, cognitive activities, outdoor play (if the weather permits), and arts and crafts. We love having so many little projects to hang on our wall at home! In addition to all the fun activities he engages in, Reid has also made so many friends! He loves having kids his age to play with and he loves his teachers too! The best part is their utilization of the “BrightWheel” app; where they send us updates throughout the day of what exactly he is doing. Updates come in so often that we do not feel that we are missing so much of his day. When being picked up, we always ask him “Did you have fun in school today?”, and the answer is always “YES!” Based on the picture updates we receive; we can tell that every day is a fun day for him. We love World of Wonder, and we would recommend them to anyone! Their establishment is immaculate, and they provide high levels of security with keypad locks on their doors and security cameras. They post monthly lunch menus from LSG so that parents have the option to order lunch for their child for a small fee. From time to time, they lay out treats for the parents to enjoy when dropping off their child(ren), and they recently put up a sanitation center in the front to decrease the spread of germs! The children and their families are without a doubt top priority and we are blessed to be a part of it all!

There are so many great things about World of Wonder that reassure us about our decision in choosing their establishment! Firstly, they have excellent hours (6:30AM - 6:30PM), where most daycares open later and close earlier. This is convenient for those who start their day earlier, work farther, or get off later. They also offer a great lunch program for those days that you don't have time to pack lunch for your child. They are a very modernized daycare, utilizing BrightWheel to check in/out your child and receive updates on your phone throughout the day. You can even opt for an email report to be sent at the end of the day with a summary of their entire day via the BrightWheel app. The staff are friendly and the student ratio is low so childcare feels much more personalized. Coming from a family who has always been iffy about daycare, WoW has changed our perspective completely -So much so that we now have 3 children from our family attending WoW!

We highly recommend World of Wonder! We found a center that meets our standards. It’s clean, safe, modern, and reliable. Mynette is accommodating and her staff is friendly. We enrolled our son Davien since October 2018. He enjoys the weekly lessons and activities. The daily updates we receive through the brightwheel app puts us at ease and is a great communication tool. We are lucky to have found this place!

The first time we put our son in daycare he was only 6 months old - but the staff and director were very welcoming and made sure my son feel at home - even letting me come at lunch to breastfeed him. It only took him a week to adjust to being without me and get dropped to school without crying, because he knew he was with his favorite teacher (he has so many now). World of Wonder is great for first time moms that have anxiety about daycares, especially because of the Brightwheel app that updates the parents throughout the day (with pictures and videos too) - which admittedly got me through my first day without him (& honestly it's where I get all of my son's good pictures). The staff is welcoming and friendly & my son is always excited to be there. They even have events that are also fun for the parents as well! I can't thank enough the teachers and staff that have helped my son grow and learn while we finish our education!

My child started going to WoW on December 2019. We were one of the lucky ones that got chosen from the long wait list they had. Once I got that call that a slot opened up I didn't waste anytime and went to make my payment for registration. Before WoW, my daughter was just at home with grandma. I did all my research before sending her off to any daycare and boy was i satisfied with my choice of putting her name on WoW's wait list. Mynette was so accommodating in giving us the tour even if the daycare was close that day. My daughter has only been there for a month and a half but she seems so comfortable with her surroundings. She was afraid at first because it was always her and grandma only. But as the weeks progresses she started getting close with the teachers and started playing with her friends. I highly recommend WoW for the following reasons: - convenient hours and location: it's just minutes away from work and the holidays WoW observes matches my work's holidays. - JSTEM curriculum: it's not just your average daycare where they care for the child, they teach them as well. - the staff are very friendly, they show they care for your child, they're qualified and certified. - I love that they utilized the Brightwheel app to keep me updated with my child's activities. - last the environment is clean and very safe. I've always had doubts with daycare because I am an overprotective parent. But WoW showed me that I can trust my child's safety and care to them. I am very happy with my decision in choosing WoW.

WoW truly brought out the best in our daughter. In a short span of time, Arie has more self-control, is very structured in terms of her schedule, is orderly and organized, and has developed a sense of independence. She looks forward to story times, crafts and songs but most of all, spending time with her WoW friends and teachers. She has so much fun that she can't stop talking about it when she gets home. We love how care is personalized and how they treat our children as their own. When we chose Wow for our daughter, we also chose peace of mind for ourselves. With Wow, we've found childcare gold.

  • -Clean and safe environment
  • -The facility also utilizes the Bright wheel app, which is an amazing communication tool! Parents are constantly updated with messages, photos, and videos of their child(ren) each day.

Mynette and her WOW staff are nothing short of amazing. We feel confident knowing our child is loved and well cared for. We enjoy the friendly staff, the clean environment, the family-community connections, the daily updates through Brightwheel and all the other things they do to go above and beyond! We’d definitely recommend WOW to anyone considering a great daycare facility for their child!

Highly recommend this learning center! I am a mother of a child who had very bad separation anxiety and a bad experience with another local daycare so I was skeptical to put to my child anywhere else, but WOW has been so patient, caring, and understanding with my child. The facility is very clean, professional, and modern! A must see! We love the friendly staff the updates And pictures I get of what my son is doing at school is very reassuring! They even have lunch from LSG that you can order the day before if you need lunch for your child! They practice dental hygiene every morning, they pray, they complete JSTEM activities, have library time So many great things about this school! My son has grown and learned SO MUCH that he loved coming to school everyday! Thank you WOW for being so amazing to my son! He will miss you all! And we will definitely bring our new baby if there is a slot!

Review from an anxious mom!!
We have been taking our 2 year old here for about 3 months now and we are so pleased with the services! From the smiling faces that greet you in the morning to the mobile app that allows you to receive photos and updates during the day...it's really comforting for moms who have never had to utilize daycare before! The facility is always extra clean which was really important to me when choosing a daycare. They do such a good job of keeping the kids busy with learning, crafts, outdoor play, etc. We are so happy to be a part of the WOW family!

When you think of sending your child to daycare, your first thought is safety of your child. WOW definitely has proven to uphold the highest level of security with security cameras throughout the center to include the entrance. Teachers are extremely friendly and welcoming. They offer a great lunch program for us parents who are needing a little assistance with kids lunches. They are based on the JSTEM curriculum which is a great advantage as most daycares do not have any curriculum at all. Cleanliness is a top priority.

Initially we had planned to start our son at daycare when he was around 10 months old, about the time that his dad would come back from being away for 7 months. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to start him sooner. As a first time mother, who was solo-parenting at the time, you bet I was extremely worried about finding him a daycare, let alone one that we can trust. When I had inquired with WoW, we were on the waiting list, I had told the director that as soon as something opens up please let me know ASAP and I'll head there right away and pay whatever I needed to just to secure the slot, my son either attends WoW or he's not going to daycare at all. Sounds extreme but it was the truth. WoW's JSTEM Curriculum and Their Childcare App Brightwheel that provides parents real time updates on EVERYTHING your child or children are up to, are what really lured me into Wow. Brightwheel helps put our minds at ease while we're away from our son. They are also one of the only child care facilities that provide Brightwheel. The teachers treat our son like family and we really appreciate the extra care they give him as they do all the other students. The facility is well maintained, security is A TOP PRIORITY w/ specific access codes for parents and an overall happy environment for children. Lastly, I'd like to add that we live in Upper Tumon and our jobs are in Mangilao & Umatac...so why Wow? a daycare all the way in Yigo, completely out of the way from our everyday routes; let's just put it this way, I'd rather have him attend WoW otherwise Mom would have to quit her job and be a SAHM. So thankful that we've found a home in WoW for Nicklaus.

The idea of having strangers take care of my kids always made me a bit anxious. But with my maternity leave coming to an end, my youngest being 10 weeks, and no family to help babysit, I knew I had to find a daycare. I knew I wanted to enroll my baby in a daycare that was safe and secure, with a clean, caring environment, affordable tuition, and good location. I called and toured 4 daycares within the area of where we stay or within our workplace, but there was always something we found that didnt feel right. My maternal instincts told me to check one more. So I called World of Wonder and I took a tour and the first thing I felt was security. There’s keypad locks to the entrance doors and security cameras everywhere. Parents or anyone authorized by parent has a specific code to check in/out. The second thing I noticed was the cleanliness, there was no smell of old diapers as I had experienced in another daycare tour. Also, there are taped off areas that are shoe free, usually in the classrooms. Next thing I noticed was how friendly the staff were. I felt reassured that this was the best place to enroll my baby. The first day I was sooo anxious leaving my son at only 10 weeks old. But I felt reassured while I was at work as I would get frequent updates on the brightwheel app. There would be an update each time my baby was fed, diaper changed, when he took a nap and woke up, and they would send pictures that made my heart melt! I usually pick up my child close to closing, and I see the staff daily sweeping and mopping, I’ve also seen them steaming. So I’m confident in the cleanliness of the facility. Also, all my son’s used bottles have been rinsed before I bring them home. But my final test was yet to come until I could feel totally at ease. After 2 weeks of being back to work, I decided to pick my son up early one day and slowly opened the door in hopes that no one would hear me enter. I stood there for a few minutes just listening to everything going on. As I stood there, I expected to hear a crazy house as I had experienced in one of the other daycares. But I was quite impressed with how the teachers interacted with the kids. At that moment, I felt so relieved to have found a daycare that had everything my heart needed in one place! Well everything except one thing...Iocation. It’s a bit out of the way, neither being on my way to work nor near where we live. But the drive is worth it knowing that my baby boy is cared for...And I mean really cared for. The teachers notice my son’s little quirks and habits. They know which is his favorite toys, how he likes to be put to sleep, how he likes to take one sock off. They notice and observe these little things. And they are so accommodating with my baby’s needs. It’s these little things that show me that they genuinely care for the children.
